Hotel Mała Bawaria is situated on the black trail leading to the most beautiful waterfalls in the Sudetes – Kamieńczyk Waterfall and Szklarki Waterfall. The proximity of the chairlift to Szrenica is an additional advantage for guests who prefer less strenuous trips to the mountains. Mountain hiking, which is the oldest tradition in the Karkonosze Mountains in Europe, is becoming an increasingly popular form of family recreation. Well-developed tourist infrastructure makes Karkonosze mountains are friendly to every tourist.
Around Szklarska Poręba, there is a system of mountain bike routes with a total length of over 500 km. Cycling routes lead through forest paths and tourist routes to the most beautiful spots of the Giant Mountains and the Jizera Mountains. Hotel Mała Bawaria is located on one of the most picturesque bicycle routes.
Route No. 3 Radio Three Route
The route can be described as a Large Glass Loop, because it runs around the village, allowing you to visit many interesting places. However, this is a difficult route, requires good equipment and good skills. Less skilled cyclists will have to drive a bicycle on some sections. The length of the route is 20 km. Beginning at the Radio Three Square, then leads in succession – through the center, next to the Old Walloon Hut – here’s the note! You must visit the Walloon Master, who can cleanse you of all abominations. His good advice will be useful on the way to the lucky ones, maybe he will find the Walloon treasure. We pass the Szklarki Waterfall and continue along Szklarska Poręba Dolna to Death Turn. From Death Turn we go to the White Valley, from there to Rozdroża near Kamieńczyk, to the lower station of the lift to Szrenica next to the Hotel Mała Bawaria and back to the Radio Three Square.
Winter sports enthusiasts will appreciate just 100m distance from the largest downhill skiing center – SkiAreny Szrenica (www.sudetylift.com.pl) offering 20km of downhill runs with the longest “Lolobrygida” ski slope in Poland – 4444m and the FIS Downhill Congress popularly called “nomen omen” Ściana ”
Szklarska Poręba is currently the largest center of cross-country skiing in Poland, and this discipline of sport and recreation is becoming more and more popular all over the world.
